Thoughts for the Day, November 2, 2020: Tuesday is it. An election day like no other.

Over 91 million people have already voted. Tomorrow we get the first inkling of who will be our president, at 12:01 PM on January 20. 2021. With so many mail in ballots, I don’t expect any definitive results when I go to bed tomorrow evening. In the meantime, I am praying for this country and its citizens. The soul of this country is at stake.

United we stand and divided we fall is more than just words. It is a statement about our future. We must put our differences aside and get back to becoming the United States of America. We must be more inclusive and accepting of others who believe differently. We must care for and respect our neighbors We must judge people based on their character within and not whether they are liberal or conservative. white or non-white. christian or non-christian. straight or LBGTr, pro-life or pro-choice, rich or poor. young or old.

I hope everyone allows the process of certifying the ballots to play out peacefully, regardless of the outcome.

I will be praying for this country tonight. I hope many other will pray along with me.

  1. John Clark

    Soul of this Nation????

    How melodramatic.

    Biden is your choice..

Unfortunately when Trump won, Democrats’ staged an attempted coup to remove him, TWICE!
Why should we be any less inclined to pursue similar actions against Biden over his influence peddling for Payments from Foriegn Entities in China, Russia and Ukriane ??
